For Her Series

Is a personal and limited series that pays homage to my grandmother, who was a woman far beyond her time. She was born in 1904, was an educated musician, married the drummer in the band and was divorced and single parent by 1927. Tragedy struck her life in 1951 and she became addicted to sleeping pills. Can be viewed in the May 2002 Ceramic Monthly.

The 'For Her Series’ pays homage to the artist's grandmother, Mercie, who supported and encouraged her to pursue art.
